Summer 2019

This is one of my first paintings for summer of 2019. It is of a quiet lake in southern California with surrounded by palms. It is near the house of Lucky Baldwin located at the Los Angeles Arboretum.

The old truck is sitting in a field outside Templeton, California. I added the California golden poppies to give the painting some interest. This painting is SOLD.

Below is a quick sketch I did from an old photo I took of Aix-en-Provence. Watercolor and permanent marker.

This barn is in Paso Robles, California. It is on the property of Rangelands Wines.

The painting below is of a row of boats and a barge in Newport Harbor in Orange County California.

This watercolor  I painted on location in the Matanuska Valley in Alaska. I love painting in this location because it is peaceful.

BELOW is a portrait of a fishing boat in Chignik, Alaska. It is at sunset.

Another version of the Rangeland Wines barn in Paso Robles, California. This version I started on location, on a hot day sitting next to there lake.

Another fishing boat painted from a photo I took around 1979 or 1980 of Newport Harbor, California close to the Cannery Restaurant.
